About Us
Louisiana Public Health Workers Federal Credit Union was chartered on July 18,
1951 to provide financial services to the employees of the Louisiana Department
of Health in Louisiana, employees of the credit union, members of their immediate
families and organizations of such persons.
The Charter was amended in January 1997 to include the Office of Health Services
and Environmental Quality in Louisiana and again in December 1977 to include State
of Louisiana Departments housed in the same work locations and providing services
to the Office of Health Services and Environmental Quality.
